When a plastic bottle is thrown away - whether it ends up in landfill or our oceans - it will stay there for at least 450 years.
That's why we created our new bottle, to minimise plastic pollution and begin the journey towards zero impact living.
Our 100% plastic-free, biodegradable water bottles are made entirely from sustainable naturally derived materials which will take less than a year, instead of a few centuries, to degrade.
Every bottle chosen over a plastic alternative helps the environment and still keeps our water fresh.
Starting as pure Scottish rainfall our water spends 50 years filtering gently through miles of cracks in the granite rocks of the Cairngorm mountains. It then emerges under its own pressure at the springs east of Ballater in the remote Scottish Highlands. We bottle it at our facility in the heart of Edinburgh.
We do not force the water out, there are no boreholes, this is a purely natural process, we only take what nature provides and the whole system is sustainable as part of the local water cycle.
Our water has a low mineral content, making it one of the purest waters in the world.
